Mr. Ohlander is a Partner of Reno & Zahm LLP with a business and civil trial practice developed over 25 years. He has successful jury trial experience in a wide variety of cases tried in state and federal courts, including commercial, contract, employment, product liability, negligence, and construction claims. Mr. Ohlander serves regularly as a mediator and arbitrator for major civil cases and is active in the promotion and expansion of alternative dispute resolution as a speaker and panelist.

Mr. Ohlander serves as counsel for corporations and businesses, including a substantial number of medical service corporations, clinics, and physician groups. In the course of his practice, he advises, negotiates, and prepares documents for business and individual clients in real estate, contract, employment, and estate planning matters.

Mr Ohlander is admitted to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin State Courts, the United States District Courts for Illinois and Wisconsin, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Trial Bar for the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and has served as Chair for the Winnebago County Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. He has been selected to the Leading Lawyers Network, a group of the top lawyers in commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, personal injury, and medical malpractice defense. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his law degree from Marquette University, where he was a member of the Law Review. A Rockford native, Mr. Ohlander remains active in numerous community and youth boards and programs.
