Leading Lawyers is a division of the 159-year old Law Bulletin Publishing Company. More than 72,000 lawyers are surveyed and vetted through a rigorous four phase process to determine leading lawyers in Illinois. Lawyers cannot be recommended by lawyers in their own law firm nor can they self-nominate. The distinction of being a Leading Lawyer has been earned by fewer than five percent of all lawyers licensed to practice law in Illinois.
